Free Canceled, Former Social Service Officer Bima NTB Pays A Fine Of IDR 50 Million For 1 Year In Prison
NTB - Hakim has sentenced to 1 year in prison and a fine of Rp. 50 million against the former Head of Social Protection and Security (Linjamsos) of the Bima Regency Social Service (Dinsos), Ismud.
The amount of the fine in question has been deposited by the defendant in the 2020 social assistance fund (bansos) to the Bima District Attorney (Kejari).
"The nominal fine that was deposited by the convict was Rp. 50 million in accordance with the court's decision at the cassation level. Our execution of the fine was by depositing it into the state treasury which was registered as PNBP (non-tax state revenue)," said Head of the Intelligence Section of the Bima Kejari Bima Debi F. Fauzi when contacted, Wednesday, December 20, confiscated by Antara.
After paying the fine, Debi explained that the convict Ismud was only sentenced to 1 year in prison without adding a subsidiary of 2 months from a fine.
Previously, the Chief Justice of the Corruption Court at the Mataram District Court, Mukhlassuddin, acquitted the defendant Ismud. Mukhlassuddin admitted that there were no legal facts stating that Ismud enjoyed the cut in the fire social assistance funds sourced from the Bima Social Service.
The verdict means that Ismud was not proven to have violated the subsidiary or primary charges of the public prosecutor.
In the indictment, Ismud together with another defendant, Andi Sirajuddin as Head of the Bima Regency Social Service, received Rp105 million in this case. The indictment comes from the findings of experts in calculating state financial losses.
However, in the verdict trial against Ismud, the Mataram District Court Panel of Judges stated that the funds received by Ismud and Andi Sirajuddin were a form of sincerity for the recipients to the office who had helped make an accountability letter for disbursement of funds in the first phase.

In the process, the verdict of the Mataram District Court which acquitted the defendant Ismud of all demands by the prosecutor was canceled by the judge at the cassation level at the Supreme Court (MA).
The judge at the cassation level who then tried the case himself stated that the defendant Ismud's actions were proven guilty of committing corruption together with two other defendants.
The judge at the cassation level then sentenced the defendant Ismud to 1 year in prison and a fine of IDR 50 million.
