The KPK Council Has Not Been Able To Confirm That Firli Attends The Ethics Session Today

JAKARTA - The Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has not been able to confirm Firli Bahuri's presence at the trial for alleged ethical violations today, Wednesday, December 20. The inactive KPK chairman has not yet confirmed.

"I haven't received any information from the Secretary of the KPK Council regarding the confirmation of attendance (Firli, ed)," said KPK Council Member Albertina Ho, quoted on Wednesday, December 20.

In addition, KPK Council Member Syamsuddin Haris emphasized that whether Firli was present or not would not affect the course of the ethics trial. There are 12 witnesses who are planned to be presented.

"There are no changes. Mr. FB is present or the road ethics trial continues," said Syamsuddin in a written statement.

Meanwhile, Firli Bahuri has not informed his presence in the ethics trial held by the KPK Council. "Tomorrow (today, red) we will see," he said in the East Jakarta area, Tuesday night, December 19.

The retired Poldri also said that whether or not he was present or not he would not affect the course of the ethics trial. It is known, the KPK Council has a target of completing the decision on Firli's alleged ethical reduction before the year's change or the end of December.

As previously reported, the KPK Council agreed to try Firli regarding three alleged ethical violations. The first is related to a meeting with former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo.

The two ethical violations committed by Firli also relate to LHKPN which is not true, including debt. Finally, an ethics trial will also be conducted related to the rental of a house on Jalan Kertanegara Number 46. Firli is suspected of violating Article 4 Paragraph 2 letter a or Article 4 paragraph 1 letter j and Article 8 of the KPK Council Regulation (Perdewas) Number 3 of 2021.
