VinFast Collaborates With Marubeni To Recycle Electric Vehicle Battery

Speaking of electric cars, of course, it is closely related to the use of batteries, like a battery cellphone, it can be damaged and waste treatment is one of the answers.

As a player in the electric vehicle segment, VinFast signed a memorandum of understanding with Marubeni Corp from Japan, to recycle used electric car batteries.

"In this collaboration, this Vietnamese brand will supply used batteries, and Marubeni will use them to become an affordable and easy-to-produce Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)," the Vietnamese company said in a statement.

Later the process does not require dismantling, processing and repackaging of batteries, this refers to the agreement signed at the weekend during the summit of regional leaders in Japan.

The agreement is also an important milestone for both companies and could be a good effort to reduce gas emissions in Vietnam globally.

Not only that, the two companies will also work together to promote business opportunities in the battery sector of recycled electric vehicles, with the aim of building a circular economic model.
