Rocket Lab Almost Reached 10 Rocket Launches In 2023 J

AKARTA Rocket Lab, a launch service provider, has never set a target like SpaceX. Since 2006, Rocket Lab's launch has also been not as dense as any other aerospace company.

However, this year, Rocket Lab's launch rate is almost double digits for the first time. This is good news considering Rocket Lab is one of the most well-known space companies in the United States.

From theSpace explored data, Rocket Lab has launched eight Electron launch rockets and one HASTE rocket so far this year. These nine launches have a successful launch rate of 88 percent.

Of the total launches, three rockets were launched from the United States (US), while six other rockets were launched from New Zealand. The total cargo that has been carried by nine rockets reaches 820 kilograms.

Some of the payloads launched by Rocket Lab are HawkEye 360 CubeSats, Capella 9 and 10, BlackSky 18 and 19, NASA TROPICS 3 to 6, SSO Rideshare, Capella Acadia 1 and 2, as well as QPS-SAR-5 or TSUKUYOMI-I.

Rocket Lab also carried an undisclosed payload at the HASTE launch on 18 June. Therefore, the total payload of 820 kilograms of this payload does not include the payload carried by the HASTE rocket.

Rocket Lab should have successfully launched up to 10 rockets this year. However, the eighth launch of Rocket Lab, namely when carrying an Acadia 2 payload, failed due to a damaged power line and an error in the engine window.
