Nissan Prepares Five New Models In India, One Of Them Is Magnite Facelift
JAKARTA - The year 2023 is a productive period for automotive manufacturers, but some brands have shifted their focus to product preparation in 2024, including Nissan.
The Japanese manufacturer plans to launch five new models for the Indian market and other developing countries next year, Autocar India reported on Monday, December 18.
One of them is the facelift version of Nissan Magnite, which is expected to get a refresher by 2024. Nissan also plans to introduce a left-handed Magnite, meaning it opens up opportunities for a new export market for the compact SUV.
In addition, the manufacturer will also present a medium-sized SUV likely based on the Renault Duster model. The new CMF-B platform-based SUV will be built alongside the next-generation Duster in Chennai and is expected to be exported to several international markets.
Meanwhile, Nissan plans to introduce another SUV model, namely three-line utility based on the Renault Bigster model. The car is expected to launch after Renault Duster's twin SUV.

The year 2024 will also be at the birth of a three-line compact MPV from Nissan, who is the brother of Triber.rakit in Chennai, India, this MPV will be an entry-level model and is expected to have a more affordable price than Suzuki Ertiga or Kia Carens.
In addition, an EV hatchback based on the latest CMF-AEV platform will be available on the Indian market next year. Nissan and Renault will develop this model as a global product.
Finally, the latest generation X-Trail model is reportedly being tested in India and is likely a complete build-up (CBU) product. However, detailed information about this tough SUV is still unclear.
