Harley Davidson Recall 1,464 Unit CVO Street Glide Due To This Problem

JAKARTA - Harley Davidson announced the recall of 1,464 units of CVO Street Glide due to problems with the regulation of machine control modules that were too sensitive when the motor reached a speed of 160 km/hour.

The motorbike is difficult to control when it reaches the speed mentioned above, resulting in potential harm to its users as reported by Rideapart, Tuesday, December 19.

Information from the United States Highway Safety Agency (NHTSA) in report number 23V836000 states that this problem occurred in models produced between May 10, 2023, and October 6, 2023.

Harley Davidson memastikan bahwa sepeda motor yang diproduksi setelah 6 Oktober 2023 telah menerima update kalibrat dan dijamin tidak mengalami masalah serupa tanggal tersebut.

As a strategic step, this manufacturer has issued withdrawal letters distributed to various dealers to ensure that all consumers get the best service. Notifications to the official dealers network begin on December 14, 2023 and will continue until December 21, 2023. Notification letters to owners are scheduled to be sent between December 22, 2023 to December 29, 2023.
