Ministry Of Transportation Receives Land Grants For Tanjung Sidupa Port Construction

The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) through the Directorate General of Sea Transportation received a grant of Regional Property in the form of land assets from the North Bolaang Mongondow Regency Government, North Sulawesi Province.

This land will be used for the construction of Tanjung Sidupa Port.

The handover of land assets was marked by the signing of the minutes as well as the handover of Regional Property between the Regent of North Bolaang Mongondow and the Secretary of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation at the Jakarta Ministry of Transportation Office on Monday, December 18.

"I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the North Bolaang Mongondow Regional Government for donating 9,173 square meters of land assets," said Secretary of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation Lollan Panjaitan, in an official statement, Monday, December 18.

Lollan said the land assets covering an area of 9,173 square meters that were handed over had an acquisition value of Rp. 632,301,950 located in Tuntung Village, Pinogaluman District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi Province.

"In this cooperation agreement, the use of land objects will be used by the Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Sea Transportation as a location for the construction of Tanjung Sidupa Port, Pinogaluman District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi Province," he said.

Furthermore, Lollan said, the construction and development of the Tanjung Sidupa port location aims to support the smooth operation and service of sea transportation to the community.

After signing this cooperation agreement, the Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Sea Transportation will manage and implement the receipt of grants in the form of land in accordance with the terms and requirements applicable in the grant agreement.

"This cooperation is expected to increase the role of the Tanjung Sidupa port, which in turn will also improve the economy of the people around the port," concluded Lollan.
