Cak Imin: Don't Sell Voting Rights Because Of Very Eligible Money

Vice Presidential Candidate (cawapres) Muhaimin Iskandar appealed to the public not to be tempted by the offer to buy votes through money politics or money politics during voting day for the 2024 Presidential Election.

Muhaimin said the practice of money politics could destroy the democratic process and also the visions and missions that should be achieved by competent candidates.

"Choose based on conscience, vision and mission, ideals, and hope for Indonesia to be better. Don't sell voting rights just because of very little money," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 18.

He emphasized that Indonesia's hopes in managing Indonesia's resources are too big to be pawned with very small price of money politics, so that in the future it will have a bad impact on the nation and state.

The general chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) emphasized that it is time for the public or prospective voters in the election to no longer be bribed by individuals who only prioritize their own candidates without caring about the interests and lives of many people in the future.

"So to all citizens of the nation, do not be influenced by bribes, envelopes or business politics or coercion, because when they enter the ballot box no one sees and is responsible to Allah SWT and the entire Indonesian nation," he said.

While campaigning in Bekasi Regency, Muhaimin kept in touch and had a dialogue with hundreds of Koran teachers in two different places to absorb aspirations to strengthen the idea of change that AMIN prioritized in the future.
