Supply Improves, Terms Of Inden Toyota GR Yaris And GR Corolla Reduce

JAKARTA - Two hot hatch models from Toyota today, namely GR Yaris and GR Corolla, have received positive responses from various global automotive lovers so that their waiting period takes quite a long time. However, the manufacturer has confirmed that the indents of these two models have been reduced for the Australian market.

Reporting from Drive, Friday, December 15, Toyota Australia stated that the indent for these two models has been reduced to three months into 2024. This is because the supply of these two models is quite good and is available based on bookings.

For the Kangaroo State market, the Corolla GR unit is currently available in 725 vehicles in the first 12 months of this year, including 700 units on GTS type with a five-seater configuration and 25 Morizo Edition units.

However, demand far exceeds supply, with more than 5,000 statements of interest from Australian society. It is unclear how many vehicles Australia has allocated for 2024.

Both GR Yaris and GR Corolla are high-performance sports hatchbacks developed by the Gazoo Racing (GR) division. Thus, both of them have performance and are designed like racing cars.

Powered by the same engine, namely 3-cylinder gasoline with 1.6 liters of turbocharged G16E-GTS, both of which produce up to 300 dk of runway and 360 Nm of torque.

Meanwhile, the special Morizo Edition variant has a powerful torque of up to 400 Nm of the same type of engine. However, this model has been sold out at this time.
