Named A Suspect, Ammar Zoni Threatened With 4 Years In Prison And A Fine Of IDR 1 Billion
The West Jakarta Metro Police have named Ammar Zoni as a suspect in a drug abuse case along with the figure of AH who is suspected of being a supplier of methamphetamine and marijuana.
In a press conference, West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol M Syahduddi said that Ammar Zoni was subject to 2 articles at once, namely Article 112 paragraph 1 and Article 111 paragraph 1 related to narcotics possession.
"Primer for Suspect MAA alias AZ Article 112 paragraph 1 and Article 111 paragraph 1 Juncto Article 132 paragraph 1 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics," said Kombes Pol M Syahduddi at the West Jakarta Metro Police, Friday, December 15.
In this case, Ammar Zoni faces up to 4 years in prison and a minimum fine of IDR 1 billion plus a third.
"The threat of punishment shall be punished with a minimum sentence of 4 years in prison or a minimum fine of Rp. 1,000,000,000 (one billion rupiah) plus a third," he continued.

The suspect AH himself is subject to one article, namely Article 114 paragraph 1. With a maximum penalty of 4 years in prison and a fine of IDR 1 billion plus a third.
"Primer for Suspect AH Article 114 paragraph 1 subsidiary article 112 paragraph 1 and article 111 paragraph 1 Juncto Article 132 paragraph 1 of the Indonesian Republic Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics," he explained.
"The threat of punishment shall be punished with a minimum sentence of 4 years in prison or a minimum fine of Rp. 100,000 (one billion rupiah) plus a third," he concluded.
