Dewa Budjana Do The Postponed Donny Suhendra Album
JAKARTA - After Indra Lesmana completed his job to work on the late Donny Suhendra album, now it's Dewa Budjana's turn to take part.
Through his Instagram account, the GIGI guitarist uploaded a video containing recording moments of several instruments and vocals to complete the album.
Departing from an idea to collect some data left behind from a friend who has preceded us (the one and only Kang @donnysuhendra alam). Finally, @indralesmana and I, as well as @sredhy (the deceased's son) tried to collect the data that was scattered to be used as an album," Dewa Budjana wrote in his uploaded statement, Thursday, December 14.
In the video, several Indonesian musicians can be seen recording, including Demas Narawangsa on drums, Adi Darmawan on bass, and Syaharani on vocals.
"Of course, many parties outside of us will and have been involved. According to the data we collected from our chat with the deceased, such as: @syaharani.id @gueenfireworks, @demasnarawangsa and @adidarmawanofficial who were already involved, also included @dhani_pette. Dhani who turned out to be a lot involved in the recording period before he left, "he wrote.
Dewa Budjana also explained that he was tasked with completing four songs, while Indra Lesmana worked on five songs.
Indra Lesmana got quite a lot including Mixing 5 songs, and some fillings, I got to prepare 4 songs including forming a song from vocal algorithm data. Kang Donny, who I tried to combine with a different bank file to become a single new song," wrote Dewa Budjana.
"Hopefully it will soon become an album for Donny Suhendra, Origin," he added.

On the other hand, Adi Darmawan also expressed his feelings when he learned that he was involved in this project. He was grateful to be able to work on an album from Donny Suhendra who had played together in the same group for 12 years.
"Recording at @dewabudjana Studio for Kang Donny Suhendra's album, thank you very much and it is an honor to believe that to fill the bass on Kang Donny Suhendra's album, about 12 years with Donny Suhendra Band, there is always a prayer for Kang Donny," concluded Adi Darmawan.
