Bawaslu Searches Baznas Basic Food Packages In Bintan Quoted By Candidate Cards
TANJUNGPINANG - Chairman of the Riau Islands Province Bawaslu (Kepri), Zulhadril Putra, said that his staff was investigating the alleged election violation in the package of food assistance from the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) of Bintan Regency which was entrusted with a legislative card.
"This is based on public reports, and the Bintan Bawaslu ranks immediately followed up by conducting searches in the field," Zulhadril said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, December 14.
Even so, he said, the public report had not yet entered the register stage, because from the results of the statements against a number of witnesses, it had not fulfilled the elements of election violations.
According to him, further investigation was needed by Bawaslu colleagues in Bintan to find out the truth.
