The AMIN National Team Sindir Cecaran Prabowo To Anies Regarding Air Pollution Not In Accordance With The Theme Of The First Debate
JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the National Team for the Winning of Anies-Muhaimin (AMINAl National Team) Usamah Abdul Aziz insinuated presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto, who questioned Anies Baswedan about Jakarta's air pollution in the presidential debate.
Prabowo's question, who doubted the prevention of air pollution when Anies was the Governor of DKI, was considered by Usamah, was not questionable because it did not match the theme in the first debate.
The theme of the first debate of the 2024 presidential election includes government, law, human rights (HAM), eradicating corruption, strengthening democracy, improving public services, and community harmony.
"Topics related to human rights and others, but there are questions about the environment. It's not connected, right," Usamah told reporters, Thursday, December 14.
Therefore, the AMIN national team will not allow the vice presidential candidate number 1, Muhaimin Iskandar to bring the debate material outside the theme that has been determined in the second debate specifically for the vice president.
The theme of the second debate includes the people's economy, digital economy, finance, investment, taxes, trade, management of the APBN and APBD, infrastructure, and urban areas.
"What is certain is that Cak Imin focuses on the issue so that it doesn't spread anywhere. So, we will focus on the things determined by the KPU and it is agreed on three candidate pairs. That's all, the deepening of the issue is indeed carried out," he said.

Previously, in the first presidential candidate debate, Prabowo questioned Anies about overcoming Jakarta's air pollution which had not been optimal, even though the DKI Jakarta Regional Budget reached around Rp. 80 trillion.
"As long as Mr. Anies is famous, DKI often receives the world's highest pollution index? How does the budget of Rp. 80 trillion, Mr. Anies, not doing anything mean unraveling pollution?" Prabowo asked Anies.
Anies replied that air quality control is also needed from outside Jakarta. Because, there is no separation of air carried by the wind on the boundary between Jakarta and the buffer zone.
'Want to move from here and there. When pollutants arise from steam power plants, they flow to Jakarta, Jakarta has an indicator tool. If the problem comes from within the city, it is consistent every time, we have a pollution problem, we control emission tests," Anies replied.
Prabowo responded to Anies' answer. According to him, it doesn't fit to talk about outside Jakarta, because Prabowo wants answers to Anies' program when he was governor of DKI.
"It's hard to blame the wind, so I asked, with a budget so big that steps can be taken. So I think easily blaming the wind may not need a government," said Prabowo.
