Regarding Langka Fertilizer In Central Java, Ganjar: Mr. Prabowo The Picnic Is Not Far Away

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate number 3, Ganjar Pranowo assessed that presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto, did not travel far enough or could be interpreted as not exploring many places in Indonesia related to the condition of scarcity of subsidized fertilizers.

Ganjar said the scarcity of fertilizers did not only occur in Central Java Province, where Ganjar last served as governor for two terms.

"(About) Pupuk. I was asked by Pak Prabowo in the debate yesterday. Unfortunately, he just had a short picnic," said Ganjar at the National Coordination Meeting of the Indonesian Consultant National Association (Inkindo) in Jakarta, Thursday, December 14, which was confiscated by Antara.

Ganjar reminded that the scarcity of fertilizers also occurs in other areas in Indonesia. He also admitted that he had traveled around Indonesia to listen to the aspirations of the people at the grassroots.

Ganjar said he was used to listening to the aspirations and complaints of the community at the grassroots. According to him, this was done because he also came from the lower classes.

"He thought it (fertilizer shortages) only occurred in my village (in Central Java). No. Luckily I traveled all over Indonesia. Luckily I went around and listened directly to the perpetrators (farms) at the bottom," he said.

Previously, in the question and answer session for the first debate for the 2024 presidential candidate in Jakarta, Tuesday, December 12, Prabowo asked Ganjar about complaints from farmers who were difficult to get subsidized fertilizer, especially in Central Java.

According to Prabowo, the farmers requested that the procurement of fertilizers be simplified.

Responding to this question, Ganjar reminded that the scarcity of fertilizers did not only occur in Central Java, but also in Papua, North Sumatra, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), to East Kalimantan.

Ganjar mentioned this considering that Prabowo had served as general chairman of the National Management Board (DPN) of the Indonesian Farmers Harmony Association (HKTI) for two terms.

According to Ganjar, the data for farmers in Indonesia is never done. So, if the farmer data is managed properly, the distribution of subsidized fertilizers can be evenly distributed and on target. In addition, according to Ganjar, fertilizer quotas should also not be limited.
