A More Sangar Look, This Is The Third Generation Lexus GX Price

JAKARTA - Introduced last June, the third generation Lexus GX not only looked charming, but also had the capability to venture off-road. Recently, the manufacturer released the price of the SUV for the US market.

Reporting from the official Lexus website, Wednesday, December 13, the 2024 edition of the GX 550 model received six different variants, consisting of Premium, Premium+, Luxury, Luxury+, Overtrail, and Overtrail+, which ranged from 64,250 US dollars (equivalent to Rp996.3 million) to the highest reaching 77,250 US dollars (around Rp1,197 billion).

The value offered by the luxury brand includes shipping costs borne by customers. Thus, this model will continue the legacy of the GX family that has existed since 2002.

The latest GX has a brain-splitting and tough design with the merger of body-on-frame SUVs. GX's front design was given a bold touch with a smaller grip and sharp front-LED lights. Grill opening is also slightly raised to avoid collisions.

The GX side has a rigid design with horizontal flows. 18-inch rim and 33-inch 265/70R18 tires complement the appearance of the 2024 Lexus TX.

Inside GX, there is a new instrument panel that is lower and simpler. Other features include an integrated HuD display with a 14-inch multimedia touch screen, Android Auto, and a wireless Apple CarPlay. A 12.3-inch multi-information display is also available.

GX 2024 uses the GA-F platform which is also used by LX 600. With this platform, GX 2024 has maximum performance on the off-road and on-road tracks with the latest suspensions.

The premium Japanese manufacturer also equipped GX with Lexus Safety System + 3.0 as safety equipment consisting of a Pre-Collition System (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection, All-speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Emergency Driving Stop System (EDSS), Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA), Road Sign Assist (RSA), and Active Driving Assist (PDA).

The GX 2024 Lexus has two powertrain options. The first option is the standard 3.4 liter V6 twin-turbocharged engine with a ten acceleration automatic transmission, generating 349 dk of power and 649 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, hybrid options will be available in the United States in the near future.

The latest generation GX Lexus will be assembled at the Tahara plant in Japan and is expected to arrive at the local dealers' network in early 2024.
