Rieka Roslan Prepares Compile Album In Black Plates

JAKARTA - Rieka Roslan is preparing to release a new album in vinyl or disk form. The album contains several hits that have been created and one new song.

"So, there will be six or eight songs. There is one new song titled In Cahaya Bulan, a new song coincidentally for my father, the deceased. The rest are songs that I have created for several singers, including Trying to Setia (Kris Dayanti), Allow Menyayangmu (Iwan Fals), Oh Kasih (Shanty), and others," said Rieka Roslan at Pondok Pinang, South Jakarta, Tuesday, December 12.

The selection of albums in the form of a disk is also not without reason. According to Rieka, a disk can be a collection for those who like music. He wants to be remembered as a songwriter.

"Why do I choose vinyl, because I think all vinyl lovers are collectors, people who really respect music and save. So, I want my life history to be stored with people who really appreciate the music industry," said Rieka.

"If digital is really easy now, everywhere. If vinyl must be stored, treated, at good temperatures, in a good room. So, maybe that's one way for me, I want to leave my life story for the next generation, that there was once a woman named Rieka Roeslan who had made history in the Indonesian music industry, who always wanted jazz acid in Indonesia through the band first," he continued.

Along with the release of the blacklist, Rieka also wants to insert several other things that show her musical journey.

I also chose the vinyl because it can still insert old books, stories and photos. Even though how, yes, The Groove is part of my life, that's why I still keep the photo in the video clip," concluded Rieka Roslan.
