Transformation Of Jobstreet By SEEK Platform In Indonesia Presents Many Features Supported By AI

Jobstreet by SEEK launched a series of its platform updates in Indonesia by adding the most advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technology owned by the parent company, SEEK.

The transformation of this platform is intended to provide more relevant job recommendations, new experiences, and more in-depth insight for job seekers and companies in Indonesia.

"By utilizing AI, our platform can help job seekers and companies connect more easily and more accurately," said Vaun Mehta, COO - Indonesia, Jobstreet by SEEK, in a media briefing held on Wednesday, December 12.

The new AI-backed Jobstreet by SEEK platform will be able to assess job seeker compatibility, select applications, and provide personalized recommendations through data from various sources, including job seeker resumes, job vacancies descriptions, and previous company decisions.

Thus, through this update, job seekers will now see a badge that reads "You may be a strong applicant" on the Jobstreet platform, which indicates that you have a great opportunity and fits into that position.

In addition, Jobstreet also provided more than 30,000 requested questions using AI algorithms based on the work description and behavior of previous companies to screen candidates most relevant to the positions needed.

Furthermore, Sawitri, Indonesia Country Marketing Manager, Jobstreet by SEEK also mentioned that this new AI-backed platform introduces a new feature, namely a predictive approach signal, which is designed to help match candidates with the company more precisely and effectively.

"By using advanced predictive technology, Jobstreet by SEEK can provide candidates that can be offered to discuss new job opportunities, even before vacancies are advertised," he explained.

On the job seeker side, you can now define your profile visibility. Almost similar to on LinkedIn, this Jobstreet visibility feature informs companies that they are open to new job opportunities even though they are not actively looking for jobs.

In addition, Jobstreet by SEEK provides career advice and in-depth salary information and is supported by data available on the Jobstreet platform. This can help candidates to navigate conversations around salaries by knowing the range of their standard work salary, or making the right decisions around their careers.
