Not Only Sophisticated, VW ID.7 Can Also Predicate Five Star Safety From Euro NCAP

JAKARTA - Volkswagen (VW) shows its technological and safety advantages by launching the ID.7 electric sedan, which was launched last April. This vehicle not only offers futuristic design and advanced technology, but also gains recognition from the Independent Institution, the Euro New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP), as the highest-security car with five stars.

The results of the Euro NCAP assessment released through the official VW website on Tuesday, December 12, revealed the superior ID.7 achievements in the four main safety categories, proving VW's commitment to the quality and safety of their vehicles.

Passenger Protection: 95 out of 100ID.7 achieved a high score in the adult passenger protection category with a score of 95, affirming its ability to provide maximum protection in various collision situations.

Child Protection: 88 out of 100 Children's Safety is also a priority, with a score of 88 for the protection of child passengers, showing design and technology that supports family security.

Road User Protection: 83 out of 100ID.7 get a score of 83 for road users protection, emphasizing VW's commitment to the security of all parties around the vehicle.

Driver Assistance System: 80 out of 100Euro NCAP gives a score of 80 for the driver assistance system, recognizing the advantages of advanced features possessed by ID.7.

In addition, the Euro NCAP evaluates the effectiveness of the automatic emergency braking system ID.7 in protecting pedestrians and cyclists. Some of the safety features of ID.7 include Driver Attention Monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control, Emergency Assist, and various other systems.

Using the VW Group MEB platform, the ID.7 is powered by electric motors at the back, generating up to 285 dk of power and 545 Nm of peak torque. With the Pro variant equipped with 82 kWh of battery, the ID.7 is capable of traveling a distance of up to 621 km, while the highest Pro S variant with a 91 kWh battery can reach a distance of up to 700 km in one charge.
