Pede Anies Will Dominate Debate Of Presidential Candidate, AMIN National Team: No Burden Of Human Rights Violations

JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the National Team for the Winning of Anies-Muhaimin (AmIN National Team) Angga Putra Fidrian claims that Anies Baswedan will master the inaugural 2024 presidential election debate material specifically for presidential candidates tonight.

The reason is that Anies and his vice presidential partner, Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin), emphasized Angga, have no burden on cases of human rights violations in the past.

The theme of the inaugural debate held by the General Elections Commission (KPU) raises the theme of law and human rights, government, eradication of corruption, strengthening democracy, improving public services, and harmony of citizens.

"Anies Baswedan and Gus Imin are one of the candidates who do not have past burdens. If they can be checked, those who support do not have past burdens, even the presidential candidates themselves do not have a burden on human rights violations. So, there is no problem with that," said Angga at the AMIN Winning House, Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, December 12.

Angga did not deny that there were cases of eviction of residential areas during Anies' tenure as Governor of DKI Jakarta for the 2017-2022 period. However, he claimed that evictions in the Anies era did not violate the rules.

"There are no violations. Of course, future development will not violate human rights. There are traces, that Mr. Anies has never carried out evictions whose scale is like the eviction of Kampung Akuarium and Bukit Duri in the past," said Angga.

"So, when a panelist asks, panelists need an attitude from the presidential candidate, this doesn't have a problem, really. Pak Anies' attitude is related to human rights violations, it's firm," he continued.

In the 2024 presidential election, 5 presidential and vice presidential debates were held. The first, third, and fifth debates were specifically for presidential candidates. Meanwhile, the second and fourth debates were a special debate for vice presidential candidates.

The KPU held its inaugural debate for the 2024 presidential election in the courtyard of the Indonesian KPU office, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Central Jakarta. The debate on Tuesday, December 12 is scheduled to take place starting at 19.00 WIB.

Anies and Cak Imin are scheduled to visit the AMIN Winning House on Jalan Diponegoro, Menteng, Central Jakarta, before heading to the KPU office for the inaugural 2024 presidential election debate.

After greeting the community, Anies-Cak Imin will go together using a vehicle from the AMIN Winning House to the KPU RI office on Jalan Imam Bonjol, Central Jakarta.
