GEN-AMIN Declaration Supports Anies-Muhaimin, Ideas Of Change Considered Millennials- Important Entrepreneurs

JAKARTA - Indonesian Youth Generation Volunteers (GEN-AMIN) have declared themselves to support presidential and vice presidential candidate Anies Rasyid Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

Chairman of the Indonesian Youth Generation Board of Trustees (GEN-AMIN) Ahmad Sahroni said the volunteers consisted of millennials and young entrepreneurs who were committed to winning AMIN, because they considered the idea of changing that was echoed would bring Indonesia better in the future.

"Hopefully in the future, AMIN will prioritize young entrepreneurs to be given space not only to them, but will be given space to do a benefit for the surrounding environment," said Sahronidi Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD), South Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, December 11.

The NasDem Party politician said the declaration was made nationally and would be followed in all districts/cities in the future.

"We have made a declaration to empower all young people in this republic from Sabang to Merauke," he said.

He considered that the real change for Indonesia in the future was to involve the younger generation in every direction of government policy.

Sahroni said that GENE-AMIN has a high awareness and enthusiasm to move "pick up the ball", because it wants significant changes from the AMIN candidate pair through the political ideas it carries.

"The volunteers will move to socialize the vision and mission of the candidate pair, as well as make their respective secretariats a source of information on political activities and educational places for young people," he said.

In this activity, hundreds of volunteers read the script for a joint declaration, as well as symbolically lit candles according to the theme "Stop Condemning the Dark, Light Your Candle!".
