The Arrival Of Rohingya Refugees Continues, 180 People Arrive In Pidie
PIDIE - Hundreds of Rohingya refugees returned to the waters of Aceh. This time they landed on the coast of Gampong Blang Raya Beach, Muara Tiga District, Pidie. They arrived Sunday, December 10 at around 14.00 WIB. Muara Tiga Police Chief, Ipda Efendi confirmed that there was a ship carrying a foreign Rohingya national who arrived in the early hours of this morning. "The number of those arriving was 180 people, using a fishing boat made in Myanmar," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 11. Evandi detailed that the refugees who came consisted of 53 men, 74 girls, 26 boys, and 27 girls. According to police investigation, the ship did not land in Gampong Blang Raya, but in neighboring villages, namely Gampong Tuha. After landing, they walked about two kilometers to the coast of Gampong Beach Blang Raya. These refugees were found residents after dawn and were immediately reported to the police.

In addition to Pidie, on the same day another ship was also found that landed in Gampong Blang Ulam, Mesjid Raya District, Aceh Besar. This ship carried 135 Rohingya refugees.
