Galllup Survey: Majority Of Women And Young People In America Condemn Israeli Attacks In Gaza

JAKARTA - The majority of women and the young generation of the United States (US) did not approve of Israel's attack on Gaza after a humanitarian break last week. This is based on the results of a survey from Gallup on 1,013 respondents in the United States.

The results of a survey conducted last month and released this week show that 52 percent of women and 67 percent of adults aged 18-34 years did not support Israeli attacks.

As reported by VOI from Anodalu, although 44 percent of women support Israeli attacks, this figure has increased to 59 percent in men, while 37 percent of adult men oppose the attack.

Black, Hispanic, Asian, Pacific, and Native Americans responses more likely to disagree with the attack, which was 64 percent, while 61 percent of white respondents supported the attack.

In terms of party affiliation, 63 percent of Democratic Party members did not approve of Israel's brutal attacks, and another 36 percent supported it, while 71 percent of Republicans agreed, while only 23 percent disagreed.

The level of approval is not much different based on education, where 50 percent of college graduates approved Israeli attacks compared to 51 percent who did not approve of Israeli attacks.

Overall, 50 percent of respondents supported Israel's attack on the trapped Palestinian enclave, while 45% opposed it.

The Israeli army bombed the Gaza Strip again on Friday after declaring the end of a week-long humanitarian break with Palestinian resistance group Hamas.

More than 15,500 Palestinians, mostly children and women, have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7 following a cross-border attack by Hamas.
