Staff Of Erick Thohir Expressed The Reason For Hendri Mulya Syam's Resignation From The Position Of President Director Of Telkomsel
JAKARTA - Special Staff III of the Minister of SOEs Arya Sinulingga opened his voice regarding the resignation of Hendri Mulya Syam from his position as President Director of PT Telkomsel. Arya said there was a special reason for the choice.
"We respect the choices taken by the President Director of Telkomsel Hendri Syam. Surely he has a special reason to focus on his family," Arya told reporters in Jakarta, Friday, December 8.
Arya said Hendri Syam had succeeded in bringing transformation to the body of Telkom Indonesia's subsidiary for 2.5 years as the President Director of Telkomsel.
"We also thank Pak Hendri for building Telkomsel for 2.5 years and also succeeded in the success of the transformation in Telkomsel," he said.
The commissioner of PT Telkom Indonesia also mentioned the success of Indihome's entry in Telkomsel's business. According to him, this is in line with the direction of telecommunications companies in various parts of the world.
"Where the FMC (fixed mobile convergence) was successfully implemented, (such as) Indihome was made part of Telkomsel's business, where this is a big step taken by the telco industries in the world," he said.

Previously, Nugroho was officially appointed as President Director of PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) as of today. The appointment of Nugroho is in line with the resignation of Hendri Mulya Syam from that position.
The decision to appoint Nugroho has been approved by Telkom and Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (SingTel) as Telkomsel shareholders has been effective since December 8.
"As the parent and majority shareholder, Telkom believes this change in Telkomsel management is a positive step to strengthen the company's transformation and performance steps, especially regarding Fixed Mobile Convergence," said Telkom VP Corporate Communication & Investor Relations, Ahmad Reza in an official statement, Friday, December 8.
