House Auction Sotheby's Offers Developed NFT On Bitcoin Network
JAKARTA Sotheby's, the world's leading art auction house plans to offer Non-Fungible Token (NFT) digital art for its customers. If in general the NFT offered comes from the Ethereum network, this time Sotheby's will present a new NFT auction from the Bitcoin blockchain, commonly called Ordinarys. The digital art collection to be offered is Bitcoinshrooms.
This was revealed by the head of contemporary and digital art Sotheby's, Michael Bouhanna. The plan is that the auction house will begin auctioning the digital collection of Bitcoinshrooms on December 13, 2023.
Currently, the NFT has attracted the attention of collectors with the inclusion of a number of offers to Sotheby's. Uniquely, Bitcoinshrooms digital art auctions can only be done using cryptocurrencies as a means of payment such as bitcoin (BTC).
