Bank DKI Takes Part In OJK And ILO Collaboration Workshops

JAKARTA - The collaboration between the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the International Labor Organization (ILO) which also involves various stakeholders and the banking industry, workshop titles with the theme Advancing an inclusive financial ecosystem that enable digital foreigners for SMEs and workers in Indonesia in Jakarta on Wednesday 6 December. The forum was held as an effort to develop an inclusive financial ecosystem by encouraging a digital wage payment transition for workers in Indonesia.

Also present on the occasion, Director of Technology & Operations concurrently Assignment (Plt.) President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono who was also a speaker at a seminar and discussion entitled The Role of the Financial Sector in Encourageing Payment of Digital Wages Responsible for MSMEs in Indonesia, as well as other invitations from the Ministry of Manpower, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Bank Indonesia, Women's World Banking and CEOs as well as CFO from the banking sector.

"Digital financial literacy and inclusion for MSMEs including workers in this sector is an important point to support the transition from digital wage payments and the transition from informal economy to formal economy," said Amirul.

Amirul explained that the concept of financial literacy and inclusion is the main pillar in supporting the digital financial transition. Bank DKI also highlighted ongoing efforts in developing digital solutions that are in line with the needs and developments of the times for MSME actors. Amirul further emphasized that this seminar is also a form of Bank DKI's commitment to providing useful knowledge and empowering MSME players to adopt innovative financial technology.

For information, this forum is held as a forum for discussions on urgency to encourage the transition to digital wage payments, including case studies that focus on barriers and solutions in digital transitions, especially for the MSME sector and vulnerable workers in rural areas, informal sectors, women, and migrant workers. Workshop also discusses strategies providing financial services and wage payments to develop digital wage payment solutions that support the expansion of access to financial products and services such as savings, credit, and insurance with a focus on the needs of SMEs and their workers.

Meanwhile, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi said digital transformation is an important step in responding to customer needs and supporting economic and social development in the regions.
