PG-1 Yamaha Arrives In Vietnam With A New Color Choice, The Price Is Only 19 Million

JAKARTA - The PG-1 Yamaha, recently launched in Thailand, is now officially present in the Vietnamese market known as a market with high interest in adventured duck motors.

The model, which is a competitor to Honda CT125, offers a fresh touch with a new color variant, namely Orange, completing previous color choices such as silver black, dark green, yellow and silver, brown, and blue.

Reported by Rideapart, Thursday, December 7, PG-1 Yamaha is sold for 30,437,000 Vietnam or around Rp. 19.4 million. This price is relatively cheap when compared to Honda CT125 in Vietnam which is priced at around 86,292,000 or around Rp. 55 million.

In specifications, Yamaha PG-1 uses the same engine as the Yamaha Finn in Vietnam. The motor is powered by 113.7 cc engines, one air-cooled cylinder, with a single overhead cam. The engine is capable of generating a power of 8.8 hp at 7,000 rpm, and the torque reaches 9.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm.

PG-1 Yamaha is equipped with a front suspension of telescopic and a back suspension of absorbers, with a total ground clearance of 190 mm, providing comfort for motorists. The dimension reaches a length of 1,980 mm, a width of 805 mm, and a height of 1,050 mm.

Although it is classified as a simple feature, such as electric start and automatic centrifugal coupling, Yamaha offers three OEM accessories packages that can improve motor function and style. Theual PG-1 package, for example, adds a brake oil reservoir lid, customizable handbrake lever, rear and center carrier rack, small flyscreen, and a USB charger mounted on the handlebar.

Furthermore, the PG-1 Camper package adds more protection and carrier racks, as well as a USB charger and side stand to help prevent drowning in soft soil. Finally, there is a PG-1 Tracker package that adds protection and style, including side coverings and exhaust covers previously offered in Thailand. Yamaha PG-1 is ready to provide a stylish and affordable adventure driving experience in Vietnam.
