BOK Corruption Case, Central Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office Searches South Barito BPKAD Office
PALANGKA RAYA - The investigating team of the Central Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office searched the offices of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of South Barito Regency regarding the alleged corruption of health operational assistance funds at the local Health Office in 2020-2021.
Head of the Legal Information Section of the Central Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office, Dodik Mahendra, said the investigative team confiscated a number of documents from the BPKAD office related to the alleged corruption of the Health Operational Assistance (BOK) of the South Barito District Health Office in 2020-2021.
"Furthermore, for the purposes of the investigation, the documents were brought to the Central Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office for investigation purposes," said Dodik as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, December 5.
Previously, on November 15, 2022, the investigative team also conducted a search at the residence of the witness with the initials ICD in Palangka Raya, a witness with the initials MJN and PMT in Buntok City, South Barito.
"During the search, the investigative team also confiscated a white Honda Brio Satya car and a black Mitsubishi Xpander car controlled by witness ICD," explained Dodik.
The case of alleged corruption in the BOK began in 2020, the Regional Government of South Barito Regency received non-physical special allocation funds worth more than Rp. 14 billion which were used for the puskesmas BOK, the Health Office BOK, the drug E-Logistics system BOK, and BMHP, stunting BOK, management support, health center accreditation, jampersal, drug and food supervision.

Then in 2021, the South Barito Regency Government will also receive similar funds worth more than Rp. 16 billion which are used for district/city BOK, puskesmas BOK, pharmaceutical BOK and medical devices, stunting BOK, delivery guarantees, support for accreditation of health centers, support for accreditation of health laboratories, drug and food supervision.
In the BOK program, it is suspected that there was a misappropriation in the use of funds, causing state financial losses.
"Regarding state losses in the case of alleged corruption in the BOK at the South Barito District Health Office in 2020-2021, it is still being calculated by the Central Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office investigator team with related institutions," said Dodik Mahendra.
