Arsad said the selection of Hajj officers was carried out in stages starting at the district/city level. The participants who meet the requirements must take part in a computer based test (CAT).
The district/city level CAT selection will be held on December 21, 2023. Participants who pass in the first stage will participate in the provincial level selection.
Participants who are entitled to participate in the provincial stage selection will be announced on December 23, 2023. At the provincial level, apart from CAT, the participants must also follow the interview held on December 28, 2023.

Hilman explained that this year the Ministry of Religion started the recruitment of hajj officers by utilizing digital technology.
Officer registration is done by sending registration documents through digital forms or emails that have been prepared. No need to come directly to the City/Regency Ministry of Religion Office.
According to him, this strategy is an effort by the Ministry of Religion to realize the process of recruiting more open Hajj officers.
With the process of submitting documents via email, opening up space for prospective officers to register, even though their domicile is far from the city/district Ministry of Religion office.
"The spirit of using digital technology is also to provide equal convenience and opportunity for all prospective officers," said Hilman.
