Regarding The Illness Caused Doni Monardo's Death, This Is What The Minister Of Health And The Army Chief Of Staff Said
JAKARTA - The bodies of the 2019-2021 BNPB Head and PPAD General Chair Lt. Gen. TNI Purn Dr (HC), Doni Monardo have arrived at Serpong funeral home, Tangerang from Siloam Semanggi Hospital, Jakarta, Sunday night, December 3.
Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Maruli Simanjuntak and Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin responded to Doni Munardo's illness.
"Regarding the disease, I think there may be a need to be met from the family or at the hospital," said General Maruli.
"I convey that his dedication until the last, his concern for the previous environment was extraordinary," explained Maruli.
Maruli said that the death of the late Doni Monardo was a sorrow for this nation and state. He is known as a figure who has contributed greatly in handling the Covid-19 pandemic. As a person who was educated by the deceased, Maruli admitted that she had lost a lot.
"He is one of the nation's leaders whose works I know exactly since my time he has devoted himself to the state and nation a lot," he said.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Health (Menkes), Budi Gunadi Sadikin also expressed his condolences for the death of the former head of BNPB. He said the late Doni Monardo was a fast and extraordinary worker especially when overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic.
"From the start he worked very fast very hard, he didn't think about the time to work," he said.
Budi Gunadi also said that the deceased was sick while carrying out his job as Head of BNPB 2019-2021.
