OIKN Reports That The Progress Of The Nusantara Hotel Is 35 Percent, Proof Of Real IKN Development
JAKARTA - The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) reports that the progress of the construction of the Nusantara Hotel in IKN has reached 35 percent to date.
OIKN Deputy for Funding and Investment Agung Wicaksono said the progress was very fast. Given, the groundbreaking for the construction of the Nusantara Hotel itself was only carried out in September 2023.
"I received a report and I also report today, the progress of the construction of the Nusantara Hotel which just groundbreaking last September has reached 35 percent," Agung said in the IKN Investment Opportunities Roadshow monitored online in Jakarta, Friday, December 1.
Agung emphasized that this achievement has shown that the development of IKN is indeed real and will continue.
"So, the IKN development is real, real, not hoax. Indeed, the real development and progress (Hotel Nusantara) are already 35 percent," he said.
He added that OIKN will also conduct a groundbreaking again this month with an investment target of IDR 10 trillion. However, the schedule is still waiting for confirmation from the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
"This is the president going to Dubai. God willing, after he returns home, hopefully there will be certainty on the schedule, we want another groundbreaking, maybe another target of around Rp. 10 trillion," he said.
So, continued Agung, until the end of 2023 the total investment value that had entered IKN reached Rp45 trillion.
"So, (until the end of the year) IDR 45 trillion, this is the spirit of 45 to realize Indonesia Gold 2045," he added.
As previously reported, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) laid the first stone or groundbreaking for the construction of the Nusantara Hotel, on Thursday, September 21, 2023. The first hotel to be built in the IKN area is a five-star hotel.

"By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this afternoon the groundbreaking of the Nusantara Hotel, five stars, I officially declare that it will start," said President Jokowi, quoted from the official website of the Cabinet Secretariat, Friday, December 1.
Jokowi assessed that the construction of hotels carried out by domestic investors would increase the trust and attract other investors, including from abroad to invest in IKN.
"I would like to thank Pak Aguan and his friends who were present this afternoon. This provides confidence, giving confidence to the archipelago that this is very attractive to investors," he said.
