Village Head In Garut Suspects Of Rp469 Million Village Fund Corruption Sent To Detention Cells
Garut District Attorney (Kejari) handled the case of the Head of Cigadog Village, Sucinaraja District, Garut Regency, West Java, related to the criminal act of corruption in the village fund budget with a state loss of Rp469 million. Currently, the suspect is being held at the Garut Class IIB Detention Center (Rutan).
"For the purposes of prosecuting the suspect NS, detention has been carried out at the Garut Class IIB Detention Center for 20 days, starting from November 24, 2023 to December 13, 2023," said Head of the Intelligence Section of the Garut Jaya Kejari P. Sitompul as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 28.
He said the suspect NS, the active Head of Cigadog Village, was previously carried out by the Garut Resort Police investigation and investigation process, then the case file was transferred to the Garut Kejari, Friday (24/11).
The ADD corruption case in 2021 with the suspect village head, he said, will then become the responsibility of the Garut Kejari to be further processed through the trial stage at the Corruption Court in Bandung.
"The suspect's responsibility and second stage of evidence have been handed over from Garut Police investigators to the Garut Public Prosecutor's Office in a corruption case against the misuse of village funds for the 2021 fiscal year," he said.
The corruption case that ensnared NS stems from the findings of alleged corruption with the modus operandi of not involving the participation of the community and the activity management team in the procurement of goods or services, so that it is not in accordance with the Perdes APBDes Number 5 of 2020 concerning the Cigadog APBDes.
The 2021 budget year funds disbursed by the central government amounted to Rp1,205,728,000, he said, until the end of the year, some of the program activities were not realized, one of which was the distribution of direct cash assistance.

Based on the audit report on the calculation of state financial losses, he said, that the use of Cigadog village funds, Sucinaraja District, the findings of state money losses amounted to Rp469,427,925.
"It has resulted in state financial losses of Rp469,427,925," he said.
In that case, there was evidence that had been confiscated in the form of cash amounting to Rp26,700,000, two motorcycle vehicles, and documents related to the allocation and realization of disbursement of the activity budget.
