Kendari Police Arrest 7 Thieves, Seize 24 Stolen Motorcycles
KENDARI - Kendari Police, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) arrested seven perpetrators of motor vehicle theft (Curanmor) and confiscated 24 motorbikes of various stolen brands in several areas.
Kendari Deputy Chief of Police AKBP Saiful Mustofa said the seven perpetrators were the result of disclosures from Kendari City, Konawe Regency, and several other areas.
"We have secured the suspects, namely Syamsir Munanto alias Yoyo, Awal Unandar Anas alias Awal, Chal Ade Saputra alias Aldi, Ananta Putra Nugraha alias Natan, Bowo, and Andi Fahmi. In total there are seven suspects," said Saiful Mustofa as reported by ANTARA, Selas, November 28.
Sat ini para pelaku beserta barang bukti telah diamankan di Polsek Poasia guna dilakukan pengembangan dan penyidikan lebih lanjut untuk mengungkap jaringan curanmor tersebut.

"We have secured everything, we are still developing to find out if there are other suspects involved in the theft case in the Kendari Police jurisdiction," he said.
In carrying out the action, the perpetrators targeted motorbikes parked without strict supervision from the victims, and then immediately grabbed the motorbike.
"Then the motorbike is sold at a price that varies according to the motorcycle brand," explained Saiful Mustofa.
To account for his actions, the seven perpetrators were charged with Article 363 Paragraph 1 3 and 4 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with weights with a maximum imprisonment of seven years.
