This Huawei Electric SUV Has Only Reached 100,000 SPK In More Than Two Months, What's The Excess?
JAKARTA - Huawei Aito reported receiving 100,000 vehicle orders for its newest SUV, the M7, in just two and a half months since its launch on September 12 in China.

Reported by Carnewschina, November 27, M7 is the second car from Huawei Aito, launched in China on July 4, 2022. The M7 version that received 100,000 orders is the latest model for 2024, which was released on September 12.
The price of the new M7 is 40.000 yuan or IDR 87 million compared to the 2022 version, meaning that Huawei is enlivening price competition in the Chinese electric car market. As a result, the price starts from 249.800 yuan (around IDR 542 million) for the basic version.
The M7 comes as a large-sized SUV with a length of 5020 mm, a width of 1945 mm and a height of 1760 mm and a wheelbase of 2820 mm.
As an EV type vehicle (Extended Range Electric Vehicle), the M7 is equipped with a 40 kWh NMC battery from CATL, which is capable of providing a 240 km CLTC coverage or a combined range of 1,300 km with a 60L fuel tank.
There are two powertrain options for M7, namely single-motor RWD with a power of 200 kW and a peak torque of 360 Nm, and double-motor AWD with a power of 330 kW and a peak torque of 660 Nm. All variants are equipped with 1.5T gasoline engines that are not directly connected to the wheels, but only as battery chargers.

Powered by HarmonyOS, the M7 has an ADS 2.0 (Advanced Driver Assistance System) driver assistance system, which is said to be capable of navigating on toll roads and cities without requiring an HD map. Huawei plans to support this driver-help navigation feature in all cities in China starting December.
