Prabowo And Mahfud MD Have Received Campaign Leave Permits From Jokowi

JAKARTA - Requests for campaign leave for two active ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet who are also candidates participating in the 2024 presidential election have been granted by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). The campaign period for the 2024 presidential election is known to start on Tuesday 28 November. "The approval of the campaign leave permit has been given by the president through the minister of state secretary to the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Human Rights (Menkopolhukam) Mahfud MD to carry out a campaign on 28 November 2023 and other dates in accordance with the application for leave permits that have been submitted," said Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 28. Ari added that Jokowi had also given a campaign leave permit to the Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto in accordance with the request that had been submitted by the Minister of Defense. Previously, KPU has also held a serial number draw for presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs participating in the 2024 presidential election. The serial number will later be listed in the 2024 presidential election vote letter which will be socialized during the campaign period starting today. The Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin pair received serial number one, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number two, while Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number three.
