Turkey Asks Western Countries Not To Support Israel
ISTANBUL - Turkiye Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan emphasized to Western countries not to support Israeli perpetrators of "war crimes".
"All countries in the western world must distance themselves from Israeli war crimes perpetrators. Any conditional or unconditional support for Israel is a blank check for the killing of more Palestinians," said Fidan at the International Strategic Communications Summit, quoted from Anodalu, Sunday November 26.
"History will not forget the intolerance towards the Palestinian flag and calls for peace in Europe today, where attacks on the Koran are considered freedom of expression," he added.
True peace is only possible if there is justice, international cooperation and truth, stressed the Turkiye foreign minister.

Fidan said the disinformation that paved the way for [Western] intervention in Afghanistan and Iraq, and plunged the region into chaos is now emerging in Gaza.
He said there were two types of disinformation regarding “war crimes committed by Israel in Gaza and the West Bank” following the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7.
“The first is the biased attitude of many Western media which ignores the humanitarian tragedy suffered by Palestinians. Another cause is institutionalized disinformation, which is not limited to the events of October 7, where Israel is trying to convince the rest of the world by hiding the facts.”
Fidan further said that no one should legitimize “Israel's merciless killing of people in Gaza” as a right to self-defense.
