North Sumatra Bulog: SPHP Rice Distribution Becomes An Effort To Develop RPK
JAKARTA - Arif Mandu, North Sumatra Bulog Regional Leader, emphasized that one of the efforts to build our Food House (RPK) in his area is to include them in the distribution of rice for the Supply Stabilization and Food Price Program (SPHP).
By actively selling Bulog products, the RPK carries out its functions for the national price stabilization program.
In addition, RPK owners can continue to improve entrepreneurial abilities.
"They can also sell sugar and cooking oil from Bulog's warehouse. Until now, the RPK-RPK in North Sumatra is still running its business, although not all of them," said Arif Mandu as quoted by ANTARA.
North Sumatra itself has around three thousand PRK, the majority is in Medan. Of this figure, at least only around 700 RPK actively sells SPHP Program rice.

The requirements to become an RPK are not difficult. The details, own land or place to sell, fill out a registration form, submit photocopies of ID cards, photocopies of NIB, NPWP, and purchases of products.
"There is no SPHP Program rice sales target for the RPK. However, they can buy a maximum of two tons of SPHP rice per week."
"We urge you not to sell SPHP rice above the highest retail price (HET) of medium rice, which is IDR 11,500 per kilogram to the public," said Arif.
Since January 2023, North Sumatra's Bulog Perum has distributed 66,711 tons of SPHP rice or 91.39 percent of the 73 thousand tons target.
