Vice President Ma'ruf Amin Values Maintaining The Marwah Of The KPK And MK Becomes A Big Work
JAKARTA - Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin said the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Constitutional Court (MK) were in the public spotlight, especially regarding several major cases involving the two legal institutions.
The Credibility of the KPK and the Constitutional Court is declining in front of the community. Therefore, increasing public trust in the two legal institutions is currently a big homework.
"We really have to do how to make the Constitutional Court more prosperous, how the KPK is also more prosperous. That's a big job that we are facing now," said Vice President Ma'ruf Amin on the sidelines of activities in Bratislava, Slovakia, Saturday (25/22/2023), local time, reported by ANTARA.
Meanwhile, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin also responded to the appointment of Nawawi Pomolango as the interim chairman of the KPK by President Joko Widodo after Firli Bahuri, who had been named a suspect, was officially dismissed.
