Wamenparekraf Angela: Aquabike Jetski Has A Positive Impact On Tourism In Lake Toba
MEDAN - Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Wamenparekraf) Angela Tanoesoedibjo said, Aquabike Jetski World Championship 2023 had a positive impact on tourism actors in Lake Toba.
"With an event like this, it will definitely have a direct impact on tourism actors in Lake Toba, including players in the hotel, homestay, restaurant, and so on," Angela said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, November 25.
According to Angela, Aquabike Jetski World Championship 2023 is a very appropriate step in promoting local tourism.
"This is also a powerful means of promotion because the media in the world covers and athletes also have a lot of followers on social media," he said.
Angela said the 2023 Aquabike Jetski World Championship could not be separated thanks to the support from the local government which also featured a series of interesting activities such as art and cultural performances, MSME exhibitions, to music concerts featuring local artists and capital artists.
"This Aquabike is also the event of the Lake Toba people's party which is the entertainment and pride of the community," he said.
Angela said, based on data compiled by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy for the period from 22 to 26 November 2023, 3,040 rooms had been filled with tourists.
