KCIC Tampik, The Flow Of Financial Transactions Is Controlled By Bank China
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia-China (KCIC) dismissed a statement from the President Director of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk (Bank BJB) Yuddy Renaldi who stated that the flow of transactions for the Fast Train was controlled by Bank China.
General Manager of KCIC Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa emphasized that financial transactions related to various Fast Train management and operational activities were carried out in Indonesia and to support this, KCIC has collaborated with the National Bank in the country.
For information, the HIGH Speed Train is the first high-speed train in Indonesia and Southeast Asia as a result of collaboration between two countries, namely Indonesia and China. In its implementation, China Development Bank (CDB) as a creditor funding the Fast Train project
In the process to ensure smooth transactions, KCIC and CDB cooperate with 3 banks that operate fully in Indonesia under the supervision of Bank Indonesia and OJK and have international networks, namely BNI, Bank of China, and ICBC.
"Most of the KCIC business transactions are still carried out domestically, so the circulation of funds is expected to continue to provide optimal benefits for the national economy," Eva said in her official statement, Saturday, November 25.
In addition, KCIC also continues to collaborate with several domestic national banks for bookings and ticketing payments, employee payroll, to payment of company partners.
In terms of banking services to passengers such as booking tickets and payment transactions, KCIC also collaborates with Bank Mandiri, BNI and BRI.

The collaboration that has been running includes the provision of ticket booking services in the Livin' by Mandiri application, BRImo, payments for bookingASH tickets through all banks in Indonesia, and the use of EDC and QRIS for ticket payments at merchants, ticket purchase machines, and station counters.
KCIC has also provided BNI ATMs at the KCIC Halim Office and most recently BRI ATMs at Halim Fast Train Station, Tegalluar High Speed Train Station and the KCIC Halim Office. The presence of this service aims to make it easier for passengers and the public to carry out banking transactions when leaving or arriving at the Fast Train Station and the KCIC Office.
