Regarding Dead Escalators At KRL Station, This Is KCI's Response

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI) has opened its voice about escalators that do not operate at several Jabodetabek KRL stations.

KCI Vice President Corporate Secretary Anne Purba said that her party continues to evaluate and improve facilities.

For your information, escalators that are not operating are located at Palmerah Station, Manggarai Station, to Bekasi Station.

Furthermore, Anne said for Manggarai Station the escalator that has returned to normal and can be used by KRL passengers.

"We have reported everything in Palmerah in Palmerah. In Bekasi to Manggarai. In that area, we communicated with the Directorate General of Railways at the Ministry of Transportation," he said when met at Gambir Station, Jakarta, Friday, November 24.

For supporting infrastructure at the KRL station, continued Anne, it is indeed being built and continues to be built. However, Anne explained that the domain of infrastructure development policies including the escalator is at the Directorate General of Railways at the Ministry of Transportation.
