Dolly Parton Cerita Kali Pertama Kerja Bareng Rob Halford
JAKARTA - Country legend Dolly Parton recalled his first collaboration with Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford.
Speaking to SiriusXM and described by Blabbermouth to promote his new album, Rockstar, Parton recalls working with Judas Priest's frontman for the first time.
They worked together while performing their own song at the inauguration ceremony of the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame 2022 where both; Parton and Judas Priest were sworn in.
We chatted a lot because he was included in the Hall Of Fame [Rock And Roll] when I came in too. So I visited a lot of people who were listed in the Hall Of Fame at the same time as me," parton said to Eddie Trunk of SiriusXM.
"So, when I spoke to Rob, I asked him if he was willing to sing on my album if I asked him. He said, 'Of course, because mother, grandmother, my children, we all loved you for years'.'
He also said about Halford's reaction when he performed the songculus with him: "He really liked it. He liked it. He was very good. I love him. But after all, he said that, just like some other people, they have been watching me since they were kids. I have heard them listen to my music. So it makes me feel good."
The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame induction show caused Parton to sign Halford for his newly released album, Rockstar. The Metal God - the nickname Halford - sang in the song Bygones which also features bassist M\"otley Cr\"ie Nikki Sixx and guitarist John 5.
