U-17 World Cup Results 2023: Destroy Mexico U-17, Mali U-17 To Quarter Finals
JAKARTA - Mali U-17 qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2023 U-17 World Cup after beating Mexico U-17 with a score of 5-0 at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (GBT) on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 evening WIB.
In this match, Mahamoud Barry performed brilliantly to buy two winning goals. Meanwhile, three other goals were scored by Ibrahim Diarra, Ibrahim Kanate, and Ange Tia.
Mali U-17's winning party opened by two of Barry's goals in a quarter-hour first-half matches. The player's first goal was scored in the ninth minute, while the second goal was in the 13th minute.
Ibrahim Diarra who provided feedback for Barry's first goal instead listed his name on the scoreboard in the 15th minute for Mali U-17's third goal.
Ibrahim Kanate, who contributed to Barry's second goal, also contributed goals. He scored Mali U-17's fourth goal in the 37th minute through the spot.
Barry then completed his brilliant performance in this match with an assist for Mali U-17's fifth goal scored by Ange Tia five minutes after halftime.
