Tinder Launches Many New Features, Profile Kuis And Dark Mode View
JAKARTA - Tinder, the world's most popular online dating app, announced the launch of a series of new features and discoveries globally, designed to fine-tune how to connect through profile data.
"At Tinder, we understand that being connected today is about authenticity, depth, and the desire to establish a connection that goes beyond the surface. This set of features is the answer to the growing need," said Mark Van Ryswyk, Chief Product Officer at Tinder in a blog post., quoted Tuesday, November 21.
Seeing that the difference in priorities during online dating in the new generation with value quality such as respect (78 percent) is greater than appearance (56 percent), this new feature is expected to make it all easier.
"With this new profile and discovery feature, sharing things that make you unique are as easy and fun as this," he explained further.
As for some of Tinder's new features, among them are:
Profile Prompt: Maybe for some people, it's quite difficult to start a conversation. This feature will help users to express their unique personality, by choosing and responding to Prompt, so you can trigger interesting conversations that dig deeper than just Likes or Not.
Profile Quiz: With this feature, you can find potential matches and recognize your prospective mate. Share Your Quiz Response on Profile, so that will provide a glimpse into your preferences and interests.

Basic Info Tags: Using tags will make it easier and more fun to tell more about yourself and know more about your prospective mate.
Improved Reporting: An upgraded reporting system will allow users to report specific profile elements, so that users get a safer and more honorable experience. You have more options to report specific things that don't match a person's profile.
In addition, Tinder also launched an UI (user interface) update with a fresher feel, enhanced animation, and a suitable dark mode display during night activities.
