Anticipating Fraud, KCIC Urges People To Buy Official Train Tickets

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) appealed to prospective passengers of the Fast Train

"We have provided a number of official channels for ticket purchases, so that people can easily get tickets for the Right Train. We will also continue to develop this official channel so that services to the community are better," said KCIC Corporate Secretary, Eva Chairunisa, Sunday, November 19.

Eva said this appeal was given because of the incident of prospective passengers who would exchange tickets through transactions from one of the ticket sales applications that did not cooperate with KCIC.

After checking at the counter, the passenger's name was not registered and there were no ticket purchase transactions with the passenger data.

"KCIC is not responsible for all conditions or losses arising from booking fast train tickets if transactions are carried out outside the official stage," he said.

Currently, high-speed train tickets can be ordered from D-7 before departure via the Fast TrainASH application, ticket.kcic,co,id sites, Ticket Vending Machines and official counters at stations as well as partner applications such as Access by KAI, Livin by Mandiri, and BRImo.

The public can get official information regarding KCIC through KCIC customer service at the station, email to cs@kcic.co.id, telephone to 121, website kcic.co.id, and social media KCIC on Fast Train ID.

Eva added, if the public finds a site or party offering illegal sales of Fast Train tickets, please report it to KCIC so that we can immediately follow up.

KCIC will continue to provide socialization to communities regarding channels, procedures, and provisions for use.

"The public is still advised to be vigilant and thorough in every information received to avoid fraud under the guise of a Fast Train service," he said.
