2 Days Of Search, Toddler Drowning In Ciliwung Found Dead
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) reported that the body of a four-year-old boy who drowned since Friday 17 November has been found. "At 24.00 WIB (Saturday), we received reports of the discovery of a body around the Pasar Baru Village area, Central Jakarta," said the Commander of the DKI Basarnas Team Zulfikri at the location where the body was found, Sunday, November 19 in the morning. He explained that after checking and identification, it turned out that the body was a drowning victim who was being sought by the Basarnas team. Basarnas, BPBD DKI, and the police then evacuated the boy's body in the Ciliwung River, Jalan Pasar Baru Selatan, Central Jakarta, Sunday morning, at around 00.30 WIB. "The body was taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) Jakarta for further submission to the family," he explained.

Previously, the DKI Basarnas conducted a search for a drowning victim named Panca, a resident of Jl. Prapatan II RT10 RW05 Senen Village, Central Jakarta, Friday, November 17. The victim allegedly drowned while playing around where he lived near the Ciliwung River.
