Bank Indonesia Synergizes With The Indonesian Navy To Serve Money Exchange In The Musi River
JAKARTA - Bank Indonesia collaborates with the Indonesian Navy along the Musi River, Palembang, South Sumatra, to provide rupiah currency exchange services to the public.
"This river crossing service is important to provide a rupiah exchange service that deserves dear," said Marine Colonel Sandy Kurniawan, Commander of the Palembang Navy Base, quoted by ANTARA.
This rupiah exchange is intended to reach the three T regions, namely lagging behind, leading, and outermost.

Bank Indonesia hopes that this service is important for the strength of the rupiah while creating a healthy economy for the community.
In addition, this program is able to increase inclusiveness and encourage residents to use rupiah even in digital form.
"Through this love program, it is proud to understand that this rupiah is part of fulfilling the program that the rupiah must reach all Indonesian people," said Destry Damayanti, Senior Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia.
"Thank you to the Indonesian Navy for this very large Musi River crossing. Very many areas whose people need rupiah and are difficult to get to the mainland," he said again.
Sungai Musi menjadi etape ketiga setelah dilaksanakan pada Februari 2023 dan April 2023.
