Disguised As Buyers, Police Arrest Methamphetamine Dealers In Tanjungbalai
The Tanjungbalai Police, North Sumatra, arrested a man with the initials Z alias J (33) who was suspected of distributing 15.03 grams of methamphetamine.
"From this arrest, officers confiscated a transparent plastic package suspected of having methamphetamine weighing 15.03 grams and Rp1.3 million in cash from the sale of drugs," said Tanjung Balai Police Narcotics Head AKP R. Silalahi, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, November 18.
The arrests began with public information about the circulation of methamphetamine on Aspan Arsad Lingkungan II Street, Perjuangan Village, Teluk Nibung District, Tanjungbalai City.
"After that, the officers carried out the technique by 'undercover buy' to the suspect to buy the methamphetamine," said R Silalahi.
"After meeting, the suspect was arrested and then carried out a search of the body where evidence was found. Then Z was taken to the office for further questioning," said the Head of Drugs at the Tanjungbalai Police.

From the interrogation of the suspect, the evidence was obtained from a man with the initials H. Currently, according to him, officers are still pursuing the H.
"For this action, Z violated Article 114 paragraph (2) subsidiary Article 112 Paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law in 2009 concerning Narcotics," he said.
