Shayne Pattynama Reveals This Promise After The National Team Was Beaten By Iraq 1-5 In The 2026 World Cup Qualifiers
JAKARTA - The promise to perform better and improve was revealed by Shayne Pattynama after the Indonesian national team lost a big score of 1-5 to Iraq in the Group F phase of the second round of the 2026 Asian Zone World Cup Qualification.
Shayne Pattynama believes that the Garuda Squad can immediately rise after the painful match at the Basra International Stadium on Thursday, November 16, 2023.
The problem is, the schedule for the 2026 World Cup Qualification is quite tight. The Indonesian national team will play a match against the Philippines on the second matchday of Group F.
"I think we have to show a better performance in the future. We have to believe in ourselves," Shayne Pattynama said in a press conference session after the match.
"We are a good team, but we shouldn't be too arrogant," Shayne said.
