Police Investigators Confiscate LHKPN Document Firli Bahuri
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri not only conveyed his statement in the process of examining the alleged extortion case against the former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. Firli is also said to have submitted a document on the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN).
"Today, Mr. Firli also submitted the LHKPN document which was requested by regional police investigators and we have submitted the document," said Firli Bahuri's lawyer, Ian Iskandar, to reporters, Thursday, November 16.
However, it was not explained in more detail about the submission of the LHKPN. Only submitted, the document was submitted at the request of the investigator.
Meanwhile, the Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, agreed with the investigators' request to Firli Bahuri to submit the LHKPN document.
According to him, the request was approved by a special permit from the South Jakarta District Court. In fact, the LHKPN document is now confiscated to be used as evidence.
"Today, investigators confiscated documents or complete letters from the LHKPN on behalf of the FB as chairman of the KPK RI in the period or period 2019, 2020, 2021 to 2022," said Ade.

Although he did not clearly explain what would be explored from the LHKPN, Ade stated that all confiscation processes were related to allegations of corruption in the form of extortion and or gratification being investigated.
"It has something to do with the alleged criminal act of corruption which is currently being investigated by a joint investigation team," said Ade.
In this case, investigators have examined 86 witnesses and 8 experts. So, in total 94 people have been questioned during the investigation process.
At this stage of investigation, it is believed that there was a criminal offense in Article 12 letter e, Article 12 letter B and or Article 11 of the Corruption Act Junto Article 65 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
