Former President Of Juventus Becomes CEO Of Manchester United
JAKARTA - Jean-Ministry Blanc, former President of Juventus and Director of Paris Saint-Germain, are reportedly in the position of CEO of Manchester United.
According to Footmercato in France, Blanc was lined up to lead the Red Devils after Jim Ratchliffe completed the purchase of 25 percent of the Premier League club's shares.
In total, Ratchliffe spent around 1.5 billion euros or around Rp. 25.2 trillion for the purchase of the shares.
The transaction came after Richard Arnold, who served as General Manager of Manchester United for 16 years, resigned from office on November 15, 2023.
As is well known, Blanc was brought to Juventus in 2006 to help revive the club after the calciopoli scandal, which saw them relegated to Serie B and lost two Serie A titles.

Blanc then had several different roles while in Turin, namely the Director from 2006 to 2009, the President until May 2010 when he was CEO.
The 60-year-old man finally left the Old Lady in 2011 and soon became Director of Paris Saint-Germain until December 2022.
Blanc's biggest achievement at Juventus was completing the project to knock down Stadio Delle Alpi and build the Allianz Juventus Stadium.
The record is monumental because it is the first time that Italian clubs have been able to build their own stadiums.
